Objective of the Council:
a) To make the nursing profession a capable and dignified.
b) To mobilize the nursing profession in a systematic and scientific way.
c) To register the name of Nurse and A.N.M. (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifes) who are engaged in nursing profession, in the Registration Book of the council according to their qualification.
