NESOG Annual Conference

 The SSMP/ Options team and partners participated in the Ninth International Conference of the Nepal Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, held on 9th to 12th April in Kathmandu, with the theme “Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights; Meeting challenges in Developing World.”. SSMP/ Options supported a package of five papers, which covered key issues related to service provision and access, presented under the theme of “Supporting Women’s Right to Affordable Life-Saving Maternal Health Services”. The papers were:

i. Strategies for Addressing Critical Human Resource Shortages
ii. Strategy for Pre-Service Skilled Birth Attendance Training
iii. Managing Physical Assets: The Foundation for Quality Services
iv. Aama: Safe Delivery Incentives and Free Delivery Services
v. Equity and Access: Voice for Action

The presentations were given by Government partners and SSMP/ Options core team advisers.
